Temp is a contemporary gallery dedicated to connecting early career artists with new art collectors.

We provide a platform for diverse artists to exhibit, in highly visible locations across Perth. Exhibitions run for up to a month, with opening hours adjusted to suit each specific location.

Temp will be presenting talented Australian artists across a range of medium, with artists and artworks selected for their quality and collectibility. All works will be under $5,000.

Where

Temp is nomadic, with no fixed address. Whilst we have an online presence, we focus on the in-person experience, as nothing compares to viewing art in this way.

Who

In response to a demand from new collectors for artworks, Kate Parker established Temp. in 2022.

Kate is an art consultant, cultural strategist, and project manager with over 10 years’ experience in the arts sector. Following experience in local commercial galleries, and five years as a project manager at FORM,  Kate established an arts and culture consultancy team within urban advisory group element. Kate and her team now manage public art projects and masterplans, cultural infrastructure strategies, and provide support and professional development to emerging artists.

Known for her fresh, creative perspective and an approach embedded in practical reality, Kate is passionate about embedding cultural experiences into the public realm and providing opportunities for local creatives.
